    Michelle Reidy

    WiMCO Membership Liaison
    7x24 Exchange Carolinas Chapter

Dear 7x24 Exchange Carolinas Chapter members,

Inclusion and Diversity. Two important words representing the 7x24 Exchange organization. We are all aware that 7x24 Exchange is the leading knowledge exchange for those who design, build, operate and maintain mission-critical enterprise information infrastructures. 7x24 Exchange International is a firm believer in including all parties interested the design, maintenance, and operation of mission critical spaces and having diversity within our organization. Based on these beliefs and goals, this organization has recognized the importance of increasing the engagement and participation of women in the industry.

This understanding led to the development of Women in Mission Critical Operations (WiMCO) Community. WiMCO serves as a committee of the 7x24 Exchange Carolinas Chapter designated for specific outreach to women in our industry to encourage strengthened engagement and participation as members, presenters, and attendees of Chapter events. Educating, encouraging, and enabling those women in the mission critical field are WiMCO’s three main objectives. A core component of the organization is to increase the presence of women in the mission critical field. Through this organization, we recruit women  on all job levels and encourage them to become members of our Chapter and engage in the WiMCO Community.

We ask our current members to assist the 7x24 Exchange Carolinas Chapter and WiMCO community by bringing diversity into 7x24 Exchange, as a whole, in order to provide opportunities for women to speak on industry topics, engage one another, and educate about the mission critical field. The August 12, 2016, Summer Meeting is your opportunity to encourage those interested  to get  involved and become part of an amazing group of  individuals seeking more knowledge in the growing mission critical industry! We welcome new members and guests interested in learning more about 7x24 Exchange Carolinas Chapter and WiMCO Community.

Thank you and I look forward to meeting you!
