INDUSTRY NEWS • ISSUE VIII, MAY 2017And the Survey Says: 2017 Winter Meeting Works for Members
Attendees of the Carolinas 7 X 24 Exchange winter meeting were asked to respond to a survey about the event and the opportunities it provided. The results were positive for the overall meeting and networking event. Not surprisingly, the majority was there to network, and they weren’t disappointed. Here are some of the comments gleaned from the survey question “What were your greatest takeaways from the winter meeting?”
“I met a lot of different people throughout the industry and obtained good insight into different topics presented at the meeting. I liked the open forum approach with Q&A sessions.”
“I am new, so building my network was key. I thought the content was very good too.”
“Information on the latest technology in the fields that were presented” was the biggest takeaway.
“Software defined networks looks to be a technology that is going to have significant impact on the way data centers are built and managed.”
“I think the economic message around the importance of the data center market and its future growth is the biggest.”
“Excellent event for the mission critical industry; well organized. Carolinas chapter is the best!”
Plan Now for the Summer Meeting
The summer meeting is set to begin August 18 at the Hyatt Place in Charleston, SC. The networking event will be the evening of August 17.
